Eggless and No-bake Chocolate Tart

A simple no-bake dessert recipe with just 2 easy steps !😊 Do try it out!




A silky smooth chocolaty tart, that is super simple to make and tastes just as amazing as it looks! 🧡


Prepare this using a few simple ingredients and steps!


Ingredients: (9-inch tart pan) For the crust: 12 digestive biscuits (Any available biscuits like marie biscuits, milkbikies, parle G will work too) Around 80 gms melted butter For the chocolate filling:

300 gm Semi-sweet dark chocolate 1 cup cream 3 tbsp brown sugar (you can use regular sugar too) 60 gms butter 1 tsp vanilla extract A pinch of salt

Method:

  • Use a food processors or a ziploc bag to crush the digestive biscuits. Once crushed add in 80 gms of melted butter. 


  • Press the mixture in your tart mold well and then refrigerate for 15 - 20 mins.


  • *Using double boiler method melt the chocolate with the cream, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt. 


  • Once the chocolate mixture is smooth and the chocolate has melted, cool the mixture.


  • Once cooled pour into the tart mold on the crust and refrigerate until set.

The nuts are optional, I have used crushed almonds.  

*Double boiling is heating water in a sauce pan and placing a bowl over the hot water to let the heat from the steam melt chocolate. This method is mostly used to gently and evenly melt ingredients like chocolate and is mainly used to make ganache.
